Spirulina

I am currently taking Spirulina - does this work well as an anti-oxidant or just nutritional?

Regarding your question concerning Spirulina and its use as an anti-oxidant, Spirulina contains many nutrients such amino acids, B vitamins, Magnesium, Carotenes, Phycocyanin, Calcium and chlorophyll.  It is a fantastic super food which can be used much the same way as a multivitamin to boost nutritional status but does not yield a high enough amount of anti-oxidants such as Zinc, Selenium, Vitamin C, Vitamin E to warrant its use primarily as a therapeutic anti-oxidant.

Add it to fruit smoothies, juices or in some water and grape juice as a great way to increase your nutritional status, cleanse the blood, detoxify the liver and give you an extra energy boost.
