Insomnia

I have had chronic sleep problems for about 10 years. It was suggested to me to try Withania for the sleep problem.  Can you offer any other suggestions/preparations?

Natural therapies that may be helpful for insomnia:

Natural therapies that may be helpful for insomnia: image
  • Brauer Nervatona Calm contains homeopathics that may help give the nervous system better integrity while gently relaxing the body.
  • Sedative herbs include: Chamomile, Valerian, Passionflower and Zizyphus.
  • Chamomile homeopathic preparation from Boiron is also a lovely gentle sedative.
  • Magnesium and Calcium supplementation may help to ensure that the nerves, muscles and mind are relaxed to ensure better sleep cycles.
  • Other vitamins and minerals which may be of benefit are the family of B Vitamins, zinc, anti-oxidants and Selenium.
  • Melatonin 6x, this is another homeopathic containing a tincture of an important hormone that stimulates the Pituitary Gland to correct sleep disruptions and normalise sleep cycles.

If you take a new product please begin by taking only one tablet for a few days to ascertain whether it will be of assistance to you and not cause an allergic reaction.  I recommend getting an allergy test so you have a better understanding of what you are sensitive to.
