About Us
This free service is intended to provide clear and concise natural health information and advice for the general public via the "Ask a Naturopath" website.
By no means do we intend to take the seat of your health care professional. We simply hope to help you to educate yourself, by providing information on the many fields of natural health and the different modalities used in Naturopathy i.e. Diagnostic techniques, healing practices, remedies, info about drugs and medicines, exercise, lifestyle, physical and body therapies, cooking and nutrition, vitamin/mineral and herbal supplements and also spiritual guidance and energetic medicine. Have you ever realised for example that the ache (gout) in your big toes is connected to a potential weakness in your kidneys and could be directly related to the amount of beer consumed at the footy game last weekend?
We are no gurus, basically we hope to give you the information to guide you and assist you in understanding the ins and outs of your body. Don't you think that it is bizarre that when you buy a car you are given a car manual on how to maintain it and keep it in tip top condition for better performance. But yet we have no idea when it comes to keeping ourselves regular in the toilet. Yes you guessed it, there will be lots of talk about poo, pus and pee....
